Wow I was lost in a space time paradox
I wasn't really, I've just been incredibly busy doing one thing and another; mostly working and turning 30! Life with a full time job and a freelance business can be, at time, very err time consuming indeed. Working a 9am to 5pm and then 7pm to 1am can get pretty tiring when you've been doing it for years. I do occasionally get some sleep in between cups of coffee!
I do love freelance work and I would freelance full time again if it were not for the lack of actually seeing people everyday. I loved working for myself when I did and everyone constantly wonders why I went to work for someone else but I can tell yer I'm a social person and I can only stand my own company for so long before I start to feel depressed. I need to interact with people. Working for yourself is really ace for a few months but unless you're skilled at kicking your own arse it can be be bad. Getting out of bed at 10/11 in the morning is great, great till a deadline looms like a stealth bomber and you run out of time to get the job done. Working for someone else just removes all that hassle.
I work in the Education sector and it provides me with a great sense of achievement most of the time. I'm lucky. Shit I'm 30!
